Harvested in June. Honey dew comes in a typical dark amber color and with a particularly thick texture and sugarcane aroma. The taste reminds of dates and caramel and has medium intensity, as well as the scent. It is persistent in the palate and may present sour and salty notes.
A perfect ingredient for breakfasts and power snacks, paired with yougurth and dried fruits, it is also a valid alternative for caramel-based granishes.
